My dad is the President of DJM Capital and married for 46 years to my mom, I am the middle of his three sons. My dad brings a unique story of perseverance and focusing on what you are best at, delegate everything else.
Steven is the founder of the fashion brand Steven Alan. Steven is happily married with three kids. Steven brings to the group a unique long term mindset on brand building.
Bronson is the co-founder of Lonely Ghost. Bronson is happily married with three kids. Bronson brings to the group a unique forward thinking perspective on creativity, design and marketing.
Charles is the VP of Field Marketing at Dutch Bros Coffee. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has three kids. Charles brings a unique perspective on the importance of maintaing strong corporate culture.
Matt co-founded SameDay logistics and is happily married with 5 kids. Matt brings to the group creativity and discipline with his experience of acquiring a company.
Elijah is the CEO of Redro. Elijah is happily married with 2 kids. He has built multiple companies and sold one. Elijah brings a unique perspective to the group of Silicon Valley.
Ben is the lead of supply chain at Harley Davidson, previously logistics lead at Nike and Patagonia. Ben is happily married with three kids. Ben brings to the group a strategic awareness of problem solving logistics within publicly traded companies (Nike, HD) and large family run brands (Patagonia).
Jeff was previously the Culinary Director of the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group and is now the chef and owner of Farmshop. Jeff has two daughters and splits his time between Santa Monica and Marin. Jeff brings to the group a long term perspective on elevated hospitality.
Pepper served as a Navy Seal for nearly ten years. Pepper is happily married with two boys. He now serves as the VP of Strategic Development with the Albuquerque Journal. Pepper brings to the group a legit appreciation for mental toughness.
Skip has been a marketing & ecommerce consultant for 15+ years. He is happily married with 5 boys and brings a holistic approach to the group for eCom retention focused marketing.
Corey is a partner at Cascade Natural Health, partner in a boutique hotel, proprietor of a staffing company, and owner at Home Instead Senior Care. Corey is happily married with two daughters. Corey brings to the group a vibrant perspective on managing multiple businesses.
Kevin is a past NFL player and now is the Global Sports & Entertainment Associate Director at Morgan Stanley. Kevin is happily married with two kids. Kevin will not tell you this, but he brings to the group the ability to apply the performance culture of the NFL into daily work habits.
Jeremy is the head of Bearings, a communications, brand narrative and strategy consultancy. Previously based in Atlanta and New York, Blume spent 20 years in the public relations field serving nearly 100 national and international organizations focused on cause-oriented endeavors. Blume recently moved to Nashville and brings to the group a no B.S. meter that has already elevated the speakers for our monthly Zoom and the quality of these retreats.
Tyler is a co-founder of Wurstküche restaurant. Tyler is happily married to his high school sweetheart and has four kids. Tyler brings to the group an inspiring perspective on growing a hospitality brand and managing teams.
Michael is the Co-Founder at NA Capital, specializing in residential real estate over the past 17 years. Michael is happily married with 3 kids. Michael brings a unique perspective to the group of hustle and problem solving.

WORKSHOPS:
• [Planning 2023] I have spent the last year getting to know Jesse Itzler and I make sure everyone gets one of his calendars and we workshop through how to get the most out of simple but powerful tips on planning your year.
• [Problem Solve] Hot seats — We create a couple small groups to make sure the right people are together (3-4 people per group). Then you vulnerably share a single problem with a firm template to listen and absorb. Any problems around business or family or fill in the blank — it’s such a helpful exercise and has helped me get unstuck over the years.
This is not a side hustle for me & Matt Shatto. Super thankful to be in a season of life where we both are not looking to make extra cash. Reality is that 5-weeks before these retreats we have to say “NO” to a lot of stuff to ensure Gwyneth Paltrow GOOP hospitality 😜 😜. We want to build something that will last for a long time. Matt and I just want to build a tight private band of brothers that want to help each other keep up with the pace of their business and the pace of their family.
✅ Deep friendships that last decades. Everyone stoked and wanting to do this year after year. I am serious — this is only successful if there is 100% retention. Aware that is unrealistic but that’s our goal and that’s how tailored it will be to each person to ensure the success.
✅ The specific concern was regarding tech related careers and how there seems to be little focus on Silicon Valley vibes with zoom speakers and details about past retreats. My answer is that we use the monthly zooms to harvest 😜 new mentors and tech will be an ongoing priority. And quite a few people in the group are deep in the tech space and just about every other industry you can imagine — so I am confident that there will be a well rounded range of mentors and participants to help everyone stay stimulated & challenged.
✅ Each person that is invited into this group brings a specific set of talent and perspective that I am dying to get everyone in the same room. The key communality are A+ humans that want to keep learning and improving professionally and personally. I know majority of you guys really well and the magic is going to be to see the friendships that come out of this group.
